Visa requirements

Every “foreigner” is supposed to have a valid visa unless the country of origin has a treaty with Tanzania under which the visa is not required.

There are several ways of obtaining a visa:

1. through The Embassy/Consulate of the United Republic of Tanzania. Please check www.embassyworld.com to find your country address
   
   
2. at the immigration service at the arrival airport in Tanzania or Kenya. Warning! If you travel via Kenya you need a so called transit visa and you have to request for a travel visa once arrived at the tanzanian airport
