Terms and Conditions

How to book at Ajabu Adventures Ltd.
You can book your safari by filling in the booking form. We kindly request you to make sure that data such as name, address, contact number, email address, date of birth, number of travellers, date of arrival/departure are as complete as possible

Terms of payment:

1. By paying the total amount into our bank account at least 7 weeks before starting your safari. You will receive a confirmation of payment.
   
   
2. By paying 30% of the total amount into our bank account within 7 days after receipt of your booking confirmation. This amount is considered to be your confirmation of the safari. You will receive a confirmation of payment. The balance of the amount, 70% of the total amount you can pay into our bank account not later than 7 days before starting your safari
   
   
3. By paying 30% of the total amount into our bank account within 7 days after receipt of your booking confirmation. This amount is considered to be your confirmation of the safari. You will receive a confirmation of payment. The balance of the amount, 70% of the total amount you can pay in cash (in Euros or US Dollars) at arrival in Arusha. A representative of Ajabu Adventures Ltd. shall receive the money and you will receive a receipt.

Cancellation terms:

1. Cancellation is for free untill 7 weeks before departure. In case of already paid amount this amount will be paid back minus bank costs.
   
   
2. Cancellation 3-7 weeks before departure the whole amount of 30% will be considered a cancellation fee. In case of payment of the total amount, 70% of the total amount will be paid back minus bank costs
   
   
3. Cancellation 2-3 weeks before departure the whole amount of 30% will be considered a cancellation and you are supposed to pay 20% extra. In case of payment of the total amount, 50% will be paid back minus bank costs.
   
   
4. Cancellation 1-2 weeks before departure or now-show on the starting day of your safari you have to pay the total (100%) amount. In case of payment of 30% you have to pay 70% and in case of total payment there will be no restitution.

Cancellation can only be done in writing.  If we did not receive any written cancellation within above mentioned time frames we will debit you the total amount

Loss/damage/theft/personal injury

Ajabu Adventures Ltd will exercise utmost care in dealing with  its quests and their property, but will not be responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings, personal injury or  death. We can not be held responsible for any of such events. We advise all our clients to arrange a good travel insurance to make sure you are protected against such events.

Quotation safari and beach holiday:

Our quotations are inclusive of hotel/lodge accommodation charges, meals, park fees, driver/guides and their expenses. Quotations do not include personal expenses in hotel/lodge and toilet articles

Quotation mountain climbing:

Our quotations are inclusive of entry fees, meals, costs in case of rescue, English speaking guide/cook/porters, camping equipment (tent, foam mattress, sleeping bag), meals (breakfast/lunch/dinner), transport from and to Kilimanjaro/Moshi/Arusha. Quotations do not include drinks/mineral water, personal expenses/tips and toilet articles.

Changes:

The right is reserved to make changes in the accommodation you choose. In case a accommodation is fully booked due to late booking we will of course offer you a fitting alternative. Especially in high season (July-August-December) we suggest you to book far in advance in order to be able to guarantee you the accommodation you wish for.
