Your personal driver/guide will pick you up at 08h00 from your hotel/lodge. Then you will leave Arusha and proceed to Tarangire National Park, which is about a 1,5 hour drive. In this park you will see large herds of elephants near the Tarangire river, or at the dry river beds scratching for underground streams. You will also meet large herds of migratory animals such as wildebeests, zebras, buffaloes, impalas, gazelles and hartebeests.

In the morning you will drive through the park searching for all kinds of wild animals. Besides the wild animals the park hosts the largest diversity of different breeding bird species, approximately 550 varieties of birds. On drier ground you probably will meet the Kori Bustard (the heaviest flying bird) and the ostrich (the largest bird).

In the afternoon you will drive to one of the lodges the park hosts to have a delicious lunch. After lunch you will continue your safari through the park and you will leave the park at around 17h00 and proceed towards your hotel/lodge in Arusha were you will arrive at the beginning of the evening.
